      • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
      • Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried ginger root to the boiling water.
      • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes (dried herbs need slightly more time than fresh to release their compounds).
      • Strain the tea into a cup.
      • Add lemon or honey if desired.
      • Sip slowly, 1–2 times per day.
