Organic Ashwagandha Root (withania somnifera)
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), often referred to as “Indian Ginseng” or “Winter Cherry,” is one of the most well-known herbs in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. This powerful adaptogen has been used for centuries to strengthen the body, calm the mind, and replenish vital energy. Whether you’re dealing with daily stress, low energy, hormonal imbalances, or low libido, ashwagandha is a natural root that works with your body to bring it back into balance.
✨ What Ashwagandha Does for You
Reduces Inflammation: Ashwagandha contains compounds like withanolides that have anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting effects, helping the body recover from chronic stress and inflammation.
Boosts Energy & Stamina: By supporting the adrenal glands and thyroid, ashwagandha helps regulate energy levels without overstimulation. It’s ideal for fatigue, burnout, or weakness.
Supports Immunity: It enhances white blood cell activity and strengthens the body's resistance to illness.
Reduces Stress & Anxiety: Ashwagandha helps regulate cortisol, the body’s main stress hormone. By balancing cortisol levels, it calms the nervous system, reduces feelings of anxiety, and supports a stable, uplifted mood.
Improves Sleep Quality: Its calming effects help reduce nighttime restlessness and overthinking, making it easier to fall into deep, restorative sleep.
Supports Focus & Mental Clarity: By reducing stress hormones and inflammation in the brain, ashwagandha helps improve concentration, memory, and overall cognitive function—especially during periods of stress or mental fatigue.
Balances Hormones: Ashwagandha supports the endocrine system, helping regulate testosterone, estrogen, and thyroid hormones—all of which play a major role in sexual health, energy, and mood.
Enhances Libido & Arousal: By reducing stress (a major cause of low libido), increasing blood circulation, and promoting hormonal balance, ashwagandha helps restore natural sexual desire and sensitivity.
Improves Fertility in Men: Studies show that it can increase sperm count, motility, and testosterone levels, making it one of the top herbs used in Ayurvedic fertility formulas.
Supports Female Reproductive Health: Ashwagandha can help ease PMS symptoms, regulate menstrual cycles, and support libido and mood during hormonal transitions like postpartum or perimenopause.

How To
🍵 Make Ashwagandha Tea (Decoction Style) for Stress, Energy & Hormonal Balance
- 1–2 teaspoons of dried ashwagandha root (cut & sifted or powdered)
- 1½ – 2 cups of water
- Optional: a splash of milk (dairy or plant-based) for absorption
- Optional: cinnamon, cardamom, or honey for taste
- Place the ashwagandha root and water in a small pot.
